Wednesday, March 18 at 7:00pm, LWVO’s Election Before the Election Webinar.
Here is a letter from the LWVO:
You've heard us talk a lot recently about our focus on voter education around primary elections. Happily, we’ve also heard a lot of feedback from both members and the public that folks would like to know more about how primaries work and how we as individuals can help promote voter engagement with our upcoming primary. So we’ve put the essentials of what we think voters—and voter educators—need to know into an online workshop! This webinar will cover how Ohio primaries work, some of the challenges to voter participation, why they matter in a healthy democracy, and ways each of us can be messengers about the importance of primaries to the people in our own orbits.
We’d love for you to help spread the word about our event—you can share the Mobilize link, Facebook page, or registration link in your networks (and don’t forget to register yourself!). If you have specific questions you hear all the time or would like to know the answer to yourself, please reach out to Elisabeth at ewarner@lwvohio.org.
